Five Million Dots Advertiser Terms and Conditions
- Minimum purchase is $100 (100 dots = 10x10 pixels), and the maximum purchase is whatever number of dots that are still available.
- Secure PayPal payments preferred, the link is at the bottom of the page. You can also call and pay via Visa or MasterCard (see bottom of page for instructions). You can send a personal check, business check or US Postal Money order (US Residents Only), use the contact form and I will email you the mailing address.
- When you buy my "dots" (pixels) you will not own any part of the Five Million Dots website, you are being granted a right to submit an image and link which will be published on the front page. Your image and link will remain on the front page for a minimum of ten years (beginning the day your buy your dot(s).
- You cannot change your image or link once it has been submitted, be sure the site you link to is going to be around for several years. The only exception is if you have a compelling reason why you need to change the image and/or link. (site no longer exists, Domain hijackers take your domain, major website structural changes, etc.).
- No pornographic, adult, obscene or generally offensive graphics or website links. I decide what is acceptable. If you submit an image and link that is rejected you have the option to provide an alternate image and link, otherwise you will be issued a refund and lose your reserved dots.
- Once your image and link is published on the website, you cannot get a refund.
- When your image and link is accepted and you later change your website or link to content that deemed pornographic, adult, obscene or unacceptable your link will be removed until you provide a new link and you will not receive any sort of refund for the downtime of your image and link.
- The Five Million Dots website will be online for at least 10 years, beginning on January 17, 2008, hopefully longer (as long as humanly possible).
- If for any reason you want your image and link removed from this website, we will be glad to do so. However there will be no refunds for requests to remove your own image and link.
- Images must be the exact size of the dots your purchase. Example: for 100 dots you would provide a JPG or GIF measuring 10x10 pixels.
- The cost of your dots is based on the dimensional size of the image. To determine the amount you are purchasing you simply multiple the height and width of your image. Example: a 10x30 pixel image = 300 dots ($300.00).
- NO animated images (they would make peoples eyes bleed if the front page had multiple animated images).
- Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
- A text ad link will also be placed on the "dot list" page for each dot purchase.
- I can create a image (dot image) for you, if you prefer, I know some people have no idea how to create a GIF or JPG web image. Just let me know after you purchase your dots.
- You must have full legal authority to provide the image and link if purchasing on behalf of another person, group or business entity.
- Funds must completely clear my Pay Pal account before your images will published on the front page.
- There may be times when Five Million Dots is unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances beyond my control, I try to keep such outages to a minimum.
- Once you have purchased your dots and the funds have cleared I will do my best to publish your image and link within 24-48 hours (generally the same day), Please be patient as I am the only one here. I will email you with instructions to submit your image and link (generally via email).

You can make a donation of less than the minimum if you feel lead to do so, use the secure PayPal link below to enter whatever amount you wish. Unfortunately I cannot publish images or links unless dots are purchased.
If you wish to purchase dots in blocks larger than 100, simple multiply the height and width of the image you want published and enter that as the amount when checking out with the secure Pay Pal link below.
Don't forget your dots spot will be on the main page for at least ten years.
